Christmas time at the temple

Dennis had a meeting at the temple clinic on Saturday and he asked me to go with him.  I had not been to the temple on Saturday and was absolutely impressed by the number of families and saints that I saw there just enjoying the beauty of the day.
There were bus loads of people.  In one of the parking lots there were about 20 buses.  I guess wards hire a bus to take all who want to go.  Many people were walking around, others were eating lunch on the grounds and in an outdoor eating area and many must have been in the temple because the parking lot and bus lots were full. (Not all saints here have cars.  They depend on buses)

I hope poinsettias are not expensive here because I have never seen so many in one city.

The nativity scene is all white and accented beautifully against the green lawn and red poinsettias.
Other parts of the city also are extravagantly arrayed with hundreds and thousands of poinsettias.  Some avenues and streets also have as many as the temple grounds. They are planted in the island between the two lanes of traffic.  The CCM also has thousands in every bed and every building.  Dennis and I have them on our office desks as well.
